Teedra Bernard is the Chief Talent and Diversity Officer of TransUnion (NYSE: TRU), a leading global information solutions provider using the power of information to help people around the world access financial opportunities. Teedra joined TransUnion in early 2019, where she served as Vice President of HR for Global Technology. In this role, Teedra oversaw the development of global people strategies that enabled growth, energized the culture, and created an employee competitive advantage for TransUnion across Global Technology. She also was the HR Lead for a major technological shift transforming our IT foundation through a multi-year investment in hybrid cloud infrastructure and technology modernization. Teedra also serves as the Executive Sponsor of the African-Diaspora Alliance Network (ADAN), TransUnion’s networking resource group which advocates for a company culture rooted in diversity and inclusion by embracing all those of African descent.
Prior to joining TransUnion, Teedra was the Director of HR for Hewlett Packard Enterprise Inc. and in this role served as the global HR leader of the HPE Pointnext Global Client Services organization with 3,500 employees and $8 billion in revenues across 51 countries. She drove the alignment of business objectives to people strategies that accelerated the success of the organizational design, talent development and employee productivity & engagement. Teedra also served as the HR Lead for the global Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures and Outsourcing (MADO) team and the Core Enterprise Solutions and Business Operations Strategy groups. Earlier, she held several leadership positions. Her diverse industry experience includes Operations, Sales, Retail, Investment Banking, and Pharmaceuticals.
Teedra holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management & Development from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Michigan State University. She resides in the Chicago area with her husband and their son.
